Pods 1.7.9 has a fix for the wp_ used in this package.

About this Package

This package should contain most of what you need to have a forum working on your site. Any user logged into your WordPress blog is allowed to post. Gravatar support included, as well as marking topics as Featured, Resolved, and Closed. Multi-forum support -- go into the "forum" pod, add some new forums, then browse to yoursite.com/forums to get started.
