Experience with Pods:
  • Product Configurator: Intuitive, easy to use product configurator that allows for creation of product lines, custom attributes, custom products, product disclaimers, organized with PodsUI, and the front-end markup for each product is built dynamically using some jQuery enhancements for UI.
  • XML Sitemap(s) for Pods: Valid XML Sitemap that is protocol standard. Includes all standard nodes, uses Pod entry modified field converted to W3C time stamp, and custom XSL to make things nice looking.
  • Staff/Personnel Manager: Photo, Name, Title, Bio, etc.
  • jQuery Slider Manager: Fairly flexible in that you can specify external URLs, WP-Pages, WP-Posts, or no URL and it's easy to use!
  • Restaurant Menu Manager: Create menus, menu items, relate menus to menu items, display templates built to be custom on a per menu/menu item basis
  • Promotions Manager: Management system to create promos, let users sign-up, log the sign-ups, email users with html/plaint text emails that are promo specific, duplicate sign-up checking, and ability to export up to date sign-ups to CVS format for Excel
  • Testimonial Manager: Built a simple, yet fine tuned testimonial manager. It's markup is wrapped in Rich Snippet microformat as directed by Google for a more unique searching experience
  • Document & Forms Manager: Simple manager used to classify, describe, and organize documents uploaded to WordPress. Almost like a file repository.

I also use Pods UI with every Pods CMS based solution I create. Pods UI is a great addition, because it allows for a cleaner backend presentation that is intuitive and easy for any one to use.

About:
Currently I work for HP Enterprise Services on their Tools Team. Pretty basic name right? This entails application management, configuration, troubleshooting, and development as well as server and networked device monitoring across all systems. A lot of what I do is figuring out how to make A talk to C even though there is no B. I love my day job!

All work aside I enjoy fishing, reading, relaxing, and picking Scott's brain for Pods knowledge.
