About Pods

Pods is a Content Development framework first released on October 8th, 2008 by Matt Gibbs and has grown to become a staple for many developers building WordPress-based websites and applications.





Core Developers

Scott Kingsley Clark

Lead Developer
Scott is a Developer and Consultant in Irving, TX. Since age 15, Scott has worked on hundreds of websites. He specializes in WordPress and Pods CMS Framework development using PHP, MySQL, AJAX / JavaScript. He's also a WordPress plugin developer and presents at WordCamps, Meetups, and Conferences around the world.

Scott has been a Pods developer since December 2008. Outside of development, Scott spends as much time as possible with his wife Cassidy, his daughter Annabelle Lee, and his music project Soft Charisma.

Matt Gibbs

Creator + Developer

Matt is a Web Developer in Alexandria, VA. In the Fall of 2008, he created Pods as a fresh, lightweight CMS plugin to compliment WordPress. Matt is happily married, and has quite possibly the world's laziest cat.

Jonathan Christopher

Developer + Tutorials + Frontend / UI

Jonathan is the Co-owner & Development Principal at Iron to Iron in Troy, NY. There, he specializes in front end development, WordPress and Pods CMS development, and other PHP work.

He's a WordPress plugin developer and loves the WordPress community at large. He's married to his lovely wife Carrie and really, really enjoys Seinfeld. He owns and operates Monday By Noon which aims to be a weekly publication focused on Web design and development.

Hunter currently works for HP Enterprise Services and is a huge advocate of building great websites using WordPress and Pods. Aside from loving WP and Pods, Hunter loves to fish, sip whiskey, and enjoys any movies with Bill Murray in them.

Contributing Developer

Cyrus is a freelance web developer in New York City, specializing in building custom CMS-driven sites using Wordpress and Pods. In addition to extensive Wordpress and PHP experience, he is an extremely skilled front-end and UI/UX developer. He has been working with Pods since March 2010, and joined the Pods team in August 2010.

Cyrus is also a freelance musician and is looking forward to starting the next phase of life with his fianceé Liz.
